Back in 2002 we set up Britishcandy.com to sell British retro sweets and chocolate worldwide to expats, but after a year or so we discovered that our main customers were right here in the UK!

After a few delivery problems to locations like Australia and the USA (you have to fill in about 10 forms to send food to the USA, nightmare!) we made the decision to sell retro sweets to UK customers only.

By 2005 we had found that our best selling sweets were childhood favourites from the 70′s and 80′s and so we started to develop a great range of sweet gifts. Britishcandy.com was the first online sweet shop to offer retro sweets hampers.

Britishcandy.com is a small family run business based in the heart of Lincolnshire. We employ staff from the local community, our confectionery products are sourced locally as far as possible and we try our best to recycle our boxes.

When you buy retro sweets from us you are helping support a UK-based family business, employing British workers from the local community.
